Greenway Clean-up April 27th & Fourth & Gill Home Tour April 28th!

ONK neighbors & Friends...We have a busy weekend of fantastic events coming up!

On April 27th, join your neighbors for a First Creek Greenway clean-up - Saturday, 9am-Noon. Meet at Hoitt & Luttrell, beside the greenway. At noon we'll enjoy Harby's Pizza and FREE Magpies cupcakes.

On April 28th our friends in Fourth & Gill are having a HOME TOUR! You can buy tickets at http://fourthandgill.wordpress.com/

Join us on Sunday, April 28 from 1:00-6:00PM to check out these great homes in Fourth & Gill.

We hope to see you at the Creek Cleanup on Saturday...We'll have gloves, bags, and some tools at the ready. What we really need is lots of help

 from our neighbors to make this happen. Can we count on you?

We need strong folks who have waders (or are willing to put ours on - we 
sometimes have loan of extra waders from the city) to get into the creek 
to help gather shopping carts and other debris. We need people to stand 
on the shoreline and help lift up stuff out of the creek (we have ropes 
and hooks to assist.) We need folks to wander the open areas of the 
greenway and pick up small bits of trash that accumulate everywhere. Can 
we count on you? Even if you can only come for a while, it all helps.

What:  ONK spring clean at First Creek Greenway (Hoitt & Luttrell 
meeting spot)
When: Saturday, April 27th  from 9 - noon
Bring: wheelbarrows, waders, rakes & shovels, favorite work gloves 
(otherwise we have plenty of simple cotton gloves.)

Please let us know if you are coming so we can get a count for Magpies 
donation and our supplies. Without labor we cannot get this done.

April 8th Potluck!

Our April meeting is Monday the 8th. Join us in the Parish Hall of St. James Episcopal for a potluck and meeting. 6:30pm start for Potluck. Meeting will kick off with KPD report and then guest City of Knoxville Urban Forester Kasey Krouse.

March Potluck & Neighborhood Meeting!

Come on out and join your neighors March 11th for our monthly Potluck and Meeting. We will meet in the Parish Hall at St. James Episcopal.

Potluck begins at 6:30pm. Meeting begins at 7:10pm. KPD report to answer questions about concerns. Childcare is provided in the playroom. Join us to network with neighbors as we all strive to make our community a better place.
